Oh Canada, our home and native land …
With so many countries throughout the world beating their chests with national pride, Canada will not play second fiddle. There’s so much to be proud of. Canada’s Baking and Sweets Show plans on shouting out about our comfort food throughout the 2019 Home-Baked Recipe Competition.
Attention all amateur home bakers, CBSS is proud to announce the criteria for year 7 of our competitions. Read below then make certain to go through the corresponding Rules & Regulations before sending us your recipes to info@canadasbakingandsweetsshow.com. Deadline is September 30, 2019. No exceptions.
In this year’s competition our participants will be given 5 categories:
- CAKE
- PASTRY
- TART
- COOKIE
- PIE
To each of these categories, participants must add at least one of the following ingredients:
- Maple Syrup
- Blueberries
- Apples
- Canadian COFFEE CRISP
DEADLINE: All entries must be received by September 30, 2019 up to 11:59 pm. Anything received after that time will be disqualified from the competition regardless of the reason. Send your personal recipes in early to avoid disappointment.
WINNERS: The winner for each category will be announced after the competition, October 19, 2019. Prizing will be distributed to winners at the event on that day. If you live away from the Greater Toronto Area, you must make all arrangements to pick up your prizes, no later than October 29, 2019.
PRIZES: Prizing for the winner of each competition will be announced and continuously updated. Watch for updates on this website.
